......What is so surprising about synchronicity once one assumes that
soma is subsumed by psyche? There is no need to work out a factor
called synchronicity - only, we might suggest, the basic factor of
"chronicity", which is the time of the soul itself. Instead of
saying, spookily, that some events are "synchronistic", we should see
all events as "chronic".
It is, after all, only with Cartesian dualism that one needs a concept
of synchronicity - if body is taken as fantasy, it too is soul and a
dualism is uncalled for. There is nothing to be "joined".
